Announcing the release of “Henhouse"

Our first release, “Whiskey Business,” was a four song effort recorded just months after meeting in the basement of the UNC music building. We started to play around Chapel Hill, then in Raleigh, and then beyond. Our first full length album, simply titled “Ellis Dyson & the Shambles,” was recorded in February of 2015 at Bunkersound Studios and released August of that year in an unforgettable show at the Local 506.

Today we present “Henhouse,” our second full length album and our finest work yet. These ten original songs were written by all of us over the last two years and recorded this January at the Rubber Room in Chapel Hill. It was produced, mixed and mastered by the legendary and fearless Jerry Brown, as well as our dear friend Noah “Wolfman” Adams of Dirty Bourbon River Show. We are excited to share with you this diverse and exciting mix of music. We’ll be taking it on the road, so take a look at our tour page to see if we’ll be coming near you or someone you know! The physical album is available on our website, digital downloads available on iTunes, and you can stream to your heart’s desire on your favorite streaming service.
